OWL Unit 1- Week 3

Small Groups:
-Fine motor - Students will use scissors to cut out pieces of card stock and create a paper fan. They will use two colors of paper and talk about creating a color pattern for their fan.
-Science - Students will explore sounds by placing objects in different containers and comparing the sounds. They will make connections to the story Noisy Nora.

Pre-Literacy - Students will play alphabet bingo. They will learn about the initial sounds of many familiar animals and objects during this game.

Science - Students will make instruments using plastic water bottles, beans and beads. They will make connections to the story Noisy Nora.

Choice Time
-Dramatic Play- Students will make "cookies" using playdough and cookie cutters.

-Sensory Table- Water movement and bubbles
-Writing- Writing my name
-Marble maze on the rug
- Letter tiles and name cards
-Library- Books about families and baby dolls. Students can pretend to read to the babies before going to bed.
